Trouble in Lapland

Rumours abound that Santa and his cheap-labour elves are relocating from Lapland to Kingstanding to take up residence in a new winter wonderland.

Santa is still checking out other potential sites around the globe (always an eye for low overheads), but the elves are said to be smitten with the bubble machine at this Kingstanding address, and are threatening a walk out if their demands are not met.

 

The front-garden disco

It's all thanks to the work of Kevin - by day a school caretaker, by weekend a mobile-DJ. Bringing the disco out of the clubs and onto his front garden - Kevin has been putting on his amazing display for the last 7 or 8 years.  There's an impressive array of lights and details (like the signpost) - but of course it's the bubbles that really set this display apart from the rest.

Over the year’s friends, family and strangers have contributed and added to it by giving him the odd thing or two. Kevin enjoys putting up his display for everyone. The kids love it, we love it and the elves are getting pretty tired of Lapland.
