HoHoHo Merry Christmas 2005

Merry Christmas to all visitors to HoHoHo.org.uk and thankyou to those that have taken part in the site over the last three years. It has been my pleasure to meet some of you personally and it always amazes me how open and friendly everyone is, when a complete stranger walks up to their house and announces they want to put them and there household display on the web. Without the support given by yourselves there would be no HoHoHo.org.uk, you really do make the site the success it is. Hopefully with your continued support HoHoHo.org.uk will continue to grow and develop to celebrate more Domestic Light Displays next year and further into the future.

Tipton, Sandwell, 2005

From a personal perspective those that take the time and trouble to create their spectacular light displays should be congratulated for bringing pleasure to peoples lives, especially those of children who look upon the lights with amazement and wonder each year. These amazing displays dotted about in towns and villages across the West Midlands, add another layer to the festive season and brighten up the cold December nights.

I would recommend you see the lights for yourselves, as you won’t be disappointed. Please remember a lot of the displays are for good causes and raise a lot of money for various charities. I can’t think of a more fitting way to celebrate Christmas than to bring pleasure to others and help those less fortunate than us. The displays are a local treasure and long may they continue.

Finally here are a few fantastic displays from Sandwell 2005 all of which give to charity so if your in the area dig deep and give generously.

Meanwhile, over in Wolverhampton, congratulations to Amy Pritchford whose
decorated house on Fourth Avenue, Low Hill, was voted Best in the West

cash for the pet charity PDSA. (Wolverhampton's town motto is -
appropriately - Out of Darkness Cometh Light)
